Cannabis Delivery Process in California

The Medicinal and Adult-Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act is the main law for consumers to buy both medicinal and recreational cannabis under certain criteria. This was indicated in the Business and Professions Code. Here are the things you need to know about cannabis delivery:

Limited Possession

Consumers who are 21 years old and above can purchase up to 28.5 g of flower and 8g of cannabis concentrates and edibles. On the other hand, for medicinal use, the consumer can buy up to 226.8g of dried cannabis or concentrate.

At Smokeland, the recreational using adult can purchase 28.5 grams of flower and 8 grams of concentrate per day. This does NOT apply to MMIC card holders as they can purchase more.

Allowed in Delivery Vehicle

Permissible last 2021, cannabis delivery drivers can only carry up to $10,000 worth of cannabis products. This is the reason why customers can order more weed and businesses gain more profit. However, before an order is received or processed by a licensed retailer, the value of the cannabis products must be limited to $5,000.

At Smokeland, our driver does not carry any change due to safety purposes. The tips that you will also receive solely from them.

Container Compliance

To protect the item and the driver as well, during the delivery process, the cannabis products must be secured in a container. The driver is the only one who can access it.
